USB ALUMNI MASTERCLASS: AN INTRODUCTION TO CRYPTOCURRENCIES

This Masterclass aims to provide an introductory understanding of decentralised digital currencies (cryptocurrencies) such as Bitcoin. It will touch on the principle in which it operates, basic transactions, trading of cryptocurrencies and explore the innovation and impact cryptocurrencies will have on banking, industry and financial systems.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Dr Mehran Zarrebini is the United Kingdom Chairperson of the USB Alumni Association and an MBA alumnus. Mehran is also CEO at PFE International Inc., which specialises in strategy, start-ups, buy-outs, acquisitions, turnarounds, manufacturing and international sales. He assists companies to innovate and develop unique and efficient business processes to enable them to transform into powerful brands and inspiring cultures, and to increase their financial performance. Dr Zarrebini has worked in the flooring, plastic extrusion, property and recycling industries in South Africa and Southern Africa.
