The Namibia Alumni Chapter will be hosting a talk with Nangula Kauluma, the Namibian Businesswoman of the Year 2017 and USB MBA alumnus.
Her topic will be Colouring outside the lines – leading yourself, especially when it isn’t easy.
Nangula Kauluma is a seasoned financial services executive, recently having taken the reins as Executive Officer Premium Banking at FNB Namibia, where she is responsible for a number of business units, namely, Private Clients, Premier Banking, Unit Trusts, Fiduciary, Insurance Brokers and Outsurance.
Prior to this, Nangula enjoyed a successful tenure with the Old Mutual Group, occupying a number of senior leadership roles within their Namibian, South African and Emerging Markets businesses, returning home to head up their local short-term insurance business in 2016, shortly after which she was awarded the prestigious Namibian Businesswoman of the Year Award in late 2017.
Having cut her teeth in sales and marketing across a diverse range of economic sectors such as retail, hospitality, aviation, pharmaceutical and tourism, Nangula considers herself to be an unconventional problem solver who is passionate about leading transformational change in people and people-populated systems.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Spelman College in Atlanta (2006), and obtained her MBA from USB in 2010.
